Only a few YEARS between posts! We have been very busy with life and the dogs. I thought I'd take a bit of time each week to post updates on each of the dogs. I'll start with the current oldest on the farm.
"Cayman" - GCHS CH Rivroc Onto Somethin Bsnatch Rosndog CA DCAT TKN FITB
He will be 14 this October and is still going strong. We continue to be amazed at the accomplishments of his "kids" & "grandkids". His type & temperament continues to shine through the generations. Special kudos to those 1st generation AKC Champions: "Strax", "Argos", "Asha", "Josie", "Wasp", & "Balto". We look forward to watching the 2nd generation prove themselves. Look forward to meeting his granddaughter "Triss" in a subsequent blog.
"Cayman" continues to travel and enjoy being on the road. He completed his Fit Dog Bronze title and continues to lope in Fast CAT. He's also responsible for introducing one of my dear friends to the world of conformation. I let Brandy take him in the veteran's class at one of the largest shows in the US and she's hooked. When people ask me how to get new people into conformation - the answer is give them a great old dog & let the dog show them how to compete.
