Over the 2024 Labor Day weekend we ventured down to Perry, GA to attend the Middle Georgia Kennel Club UKC shows. Datak, Amos, Fennec, & Triss made the trip and Brandy Oats joined us for the weekend. The Canaan Dogs participated in conformation and weight pull. They excelled in both activities. Fennec was, unfortunately, unable to compete the whole weekend due to a mysterious allergic reaction. She was able to earn 20 points towards her UKC Championship. She and Brandy are quite the team & I'm so very proud of them both.
Datak & Triss both completed the requirements towards their UKC Conformation Championship. Datak also earned his UWP (United Weight Pull) title and is working towards his weight pull championship.
Amos earned a leg (or maybe 2) towards his UKC Grand Championship by winning the Sighthound/Primitive group 3 times and taking BEST IN SHOW over an amazing entry. I couldn't be more proud of him.
